Software Toolbox Data Collection Engines One of the most important parts of the Software Toolbox Extender are the Engines. These interface the Extender with third-party data acquisition products. Engines are included with the Extender package, with the one you get depending upon your requirements The component that does the data collection work is called a Data Collection Engine. Each engine has the same interface to the Software Toolbox Extender, but each Engine collects its data in different ways. Please see the tabs above for the different Engines that we support.
